Now based in Armenia, Kevork has spent the past five years supporting a major biopharmaceutical company through various regulatory roles, from managing project licensing documentation to contributing to the safety oversight of global clinical studies. Kevork’s seamless integration into the client’s organization was recently acknowledged through a feature on their internal corporate intranet— a clear reflection of the trust and recognition he has earned.
Kevork’s Inspiring Journey Beyond Conflict
Kevork’s professional achievements tell only part of his remarkable story. Growing up amid conflict, Kevork trained as a professional triple-jump athlete, musician, and chess player—all while navigating the instability of a war-torn country. In 2016, after finishing high school, Kevork fled Syria with his father—a musician and chemist—embarking on a dangerous journey through Lebanon to Armenia. His sister and mother joined them three years later.
“Living under siege teaches you one thing: you don’t wait for peace to begin your life. You create your own kind of peace within,” Kevork shared. “That mindset helped me not just survive, but thrive—professionally and personally.”
Determined to build a better future, Kevork pursued degrees in clinical pharmacology and medical sciences. His FSP assignment has provided not just career growth, but stability.
“One of the things I value most about my work is the structured, organized environment and the incredible team—which I truly see as my second family,” he said. “After years of instability and hard choices, it feels incredibly good to be somewhere safe, valued, and surrounded by people who believe in collaboration and excellence.”
Living with Intention: Passion & Discipline
Despite his demanding role, Kevork has continued to nurture his many passions—working as a professional musician, training as an athlete, and teaching at both Yerevan Gladzor University and the National Institute of Health in Armenia.
“I wake up with intention, plan every hour, and always make space for the things that feed my spirit,” he says. “Whether I’m teaching, writing regulatory documents, composing a melody, or training at the track—I give each moment my full presence. That’s the secret. Passion needs discipline to thrive.”
